Before Christmas I worked on a half page illustration for the US Reader's Digest Magazine. The painting is to accompany an article about Julia Child's nostalgic and classic dish, beef bourguignon. I've heard Reader's Digest has had a bit of a design overhaul, so I'm really interested to see this one in print - I'll be sure to update you when I do!

My last commission before Christmas was a brief by BBC Wildlife Magazine and I have to say, it was a complete joy to work on. It was soothing to depict these beautiful, untouched, wintery scenes and the animals that inhabit them. What made it even more lovely is that all of these spectacles can be admired in the British Isles; as I was painting I was planning future trips!
